The Restoration and Brief History of The Old Nunnery House, Lower Keyford, Frome

During 1978 my attention was drawn to a derelict house in a terrace at Lower
Keyford, Frome.  I was intrigued by the early double arched blind window
placed halfway up the wall in an otherwise quite unexceptional grey cement
rendered façade.  The house’s position amongst Victorian
and apparently late Georgian cottages seemed incongruous...
