Hidden Gardens of Lower Keyford 2008
Sunday 15th June 2-6pm – in Lower Keyford...

Welcome To Lower Keyford
Lower Keyford is a very special, old, secluded part of the ancient town of Frome in Somerset. One of Frome’s conservation areas, Lower Keyford is located on the southern slopes of this Mendip hillside town, between the junction of Locks Hill / Rossiters Hill, and Keyford / Culverhill on the B3092 to Maiden Bradley in the south. For centuries a separate village in its own right, Lower Keyford was gradually subsumed within the town of Frome, but it still includes a Grade II Tudor manor house, Stonewall Manor, and some even older properties dating as far back as the 14th Century.
Stonewall Manor
"We've all got places we think of as home. Bends in a road. A bit of a street. A familiar view. And its damnable that developers, who don't care a bit about us and don't come from where we live, should take it away."       John Betjeman
